Helping Hands promotes academic success.  Each school age resident attends school daily at either an elementary, middle, or local high school.  Residents who have experienced academic difficulty, and are of age, are allowed to attend GED classes to obtain their GED.  Residents are also encouraged to continue their academic career by applying and attending technical colleges and universities.  Residents who are not school age receive educational instruction from the child care staff.
