A Chef’s Extravaganza
Please join Helping Hands, Inc. for its 17th annual A Chef Extravaganza on November 6, 2020. This year’s event will be a different dining experience, our first ever virtual event! Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided online four-course meal with wine all in the comfort of their own home. Join our livestream while you sip and dine on food prepared by local chefs. This fundraising event was created in 2004 to support Helping Hands’ programs for youth and families in Aiken and surrounding counties.
Helping Hands’ mission is “to enrich the quality of life and well-being of children, youth and families in need through a continuum of residential and communitybased services in order to improve their health, independent living skills, educational outcomes and/or resilience.”
Dinner & Livestream
It’s free to access the livestream. A dinner for two costs $150. Dinner will begin at 7:00pm. Each chef will prepare a course of their choosing showcasing their talents and ability to create a dish under the event’s theme. During the livestream, chefs will introduce his or her course and give insight on the inspiration behind said dish. Invite friends or family to join you for the livestream and the dinner!

An online silent auction will be available for bidding. The auction will be comprised of a variety of goods and services donated by individuals and businesses from our community. All proceeds will benefit Helping Hands.

How to Participate
You can register as an individual or create a table/team to do your own fundraiser for this event and Helping Hands, Inc. Instructions for food pick-up will be sent via email closer to event day.

The 17th Annual Event Committee is asking that you consider sponsoring or donating to our great event. Your sponsorship pledge will help reduce costs associated with creating a successful event. A donation of goods and/or services will help generate additional revenue for the event’s silent auction. Your contribution will be taxdeductible, as allowable by the federal government.
