In observance of Let’s Talk Month, Aiken Youth Empowerment hosted its annual Teen Maze on October 6th. We brought youth and community agencies together for a day of learning and fun!

The Police and Community Together Theatre started the day with a skit about youth and police interactions. Youth participants then split into groups to meet different community agencies and businesses while the DJ played modern tunes. During this portion of the event, teens learned about various topics like nutrition, the effects of alcohol, pregnancy, sexual health, and staying safe, just to name a few.

Lunch was served and then the fun began! There was dancing, gaming, and snapping pics with the 360 photo booth! After the fun, a couple of PACT Theatre participants read their poetry. Then we finished the day with a giveaway and certificates of completion.

We thank these community agencies and vendors who provided resources, fun, and enrichment to the youth in the Aiken community.
